Truly Travel Ltd, trading as Teletext Holidays have had their Travel Trust Association membership closed on 29th October 2021 and are no longer taking new bookings.

All existing Truly Travel bookings have been re-contracted with TTA Travel, ATOL Licence T7173 and existing customer's holidays will be fulfilled as planned.

Notice regarding Truly Travel (Ire) Limited ceasing to trade

Truly Travel (Ire) Limited t/a Alpharooms, Alpha Holidays and Teletext Holidays is unable to fulfil its obligations to its customers. The Company held a per passenger policy providing consumer protection for its customers in Ireland who booked a package up until the 30 April 2021.

Am I covered by the consumer protection schemes?

You may be covered by the per passenger insurance policy if you are an Irish customer who purchased a package from Truly Travel (Ire) Limited (trading names listed above). A travel package is where at least two services (such as flight and accommodation) have been combined by Truly Travel (Ire) Limited and sold as a single holiday. If you were issued with a Protected Refund Credit Note from Truly Travel (Ire) Limited (trading names listed above) you may be entitled to a refund, if your booking was a package.

How can I make a claim?

For Irish customers who bought a travel package a claim form is available at https://protectclaims.com/trulytravel. You must submit your claim form by 30 April 2022.
